Wonderfull waterfalls trekking

Hello,
Sorry for being late to answer, I have just came back in France.

The tour in Sapa was great! My group and I had a lovely trek in Sapa's surroundings. We would have loved to do it longer! The guide was excellent and friendly. We did enjoy our first homestay because it was more quiet and the familly didn't seam used to receive tourists at home so we exchanged more with them. Maybe the toilets in this first homestay should be improved (cleaner).
Food was delicious for dinner, train and other accomodations were good too.

I would advice my friends about your company if they need. Thank you for your helpfulness.

We are very pleased with quality of organisation and excellent service

Dear Ms Hai Yen
Please find attached our feedback comments in respect of our recent tour.
We hope that you find these constructive and helpful.
Thank you so much once again for your kind welcome and excellent service.
With our best wishes for your continued success
Christine & Robert Mankin

HANOI
Very warm welcome at Golden Rice Hotel, particularly by Lan. Upgraded to lovely room – very comfortable. Helpful door staff took me to shop to buy SIM card.
Dinner at Golden Rice hotel restaurant. Good meal – good chef,
However breakfast buffet disappointing – insufficient choice. Also breakfast service inattentive – chatting and laughing noisily with kitchen staff.
Nice hotel – would recommend.
IMPERIAL HOTEL
Also warm welcome by professional staff. Nice comfortable room but bathroom needs refurbishment. There was no separate shower and the shower-head over the bath leaked water on to the floor.
Very good breakfast buffet and welcoming attentive service.
NIGHT TRAIN
Satisfactory – relieved that we had compartment to ourselves. It would be uncomfortable otherwise ( sharing with strangers.)
SAPA
Sapa View Hotel. Unwelcoming, stony-faced receptionist. Room had no air-con and could not open window so very uncomfortable. Authoritarian attitude prevailed with lots of rules and regulations posted. Impression given that we were privileged to be in their hotel. Porter helpful but hotel generally not recommended.
Went across road to Bamboo Hotel for tea on their terrace. Welcoming and attentive service. Wished we were staying there.
Lunch at roadside restaurant on walk/boat trip not good due to poor hygiene. Wife poorly as a result.
San is a very good guide and,in particular, took care of my wife well when she was poorly the next day when visiting the tribes.
Driver on first day poor – disgusting nasal habits and not a careful driver.
On the second day Mr Xe Dung was excellent in contrast. A nice man, clean with clean, tidy car – he took us to his home to meet his wife and family – a gesture we apprec iated. A careful, polite and considerate driver.
HALONG BAY
An enjoyable trip. A highlight for us was the quality and variety of excellent food we had on board throughout.
HUE
La Residence was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip. Superb room and facilities, excellent attentive service. A memorable stay.
HOI AN
Hoi An Hotel was fine after we had requested a change of room from a supposed upgrade. The first room offered was at the front of the hotel and was noisy and cramped.
Good breakfast choice.
HCMC
The Renaissance Riverside Hotel was the second best hotel and certainly the best breakfast buffet. Professional attentive service. A superb room on 14th floor overlooking the bend in the Saigon river – memorable views from a nice sitting area in a bay window in the room.
Lucy was an excellent guide. Always prompt and very knowledgeable without being over-talkative.
Good driver.
CAN THO
A disappointment. Hotel average.
PHU QUOC
Mango Bay a nice resort but for us a big disadvantage was the basic furniture and lack of air-con. We were not comfortable in the hot, humid weather as a result. Not sorry to leave. A shame as this was intended to be a highlight of our holiday. The hotel is isolated and it is not easy to go out independently, consequently we never left it and thus saw nothing else of the island. We should have stayed somewhere else on the island. Nice restaurant and staff willing but inexperienced at times.
SIEM REAP
Royal Bay Inn is a very nice hotel and we were very comfortable. Mr Vyuth is a knowledgeable guide but can tend to talk too much to a pre-prepared script. He also needs to learn to speak more clearly to be better understandable. The driver we had, Layrattanak, was very good, careful, polite and considerate.
The evening at Koulen 2 was very touristy and not a success for us. The dancing was not of a high standard ( we have seen much better in Bali ), the food buffet was nothing special and the Japanese tourists were a nuisance with their constant photos and videos. Would not recommend. It will have been costly and for that money we would have preferred a quiet evening at a very good restaurant
BATTAMBANG
Battembang was our own initiative. We had intended to spend this time in Singapore but the found that hotels there were too expensive. We are pleased to have had the opportunity to go to Battembang and to see something of the real Cambodia. The hotel we chose, the Bambu, was excellent and we would recommend it. We visited the Watkor old houses and the Sarlkram English school and met the children and would recommend that experience. Lovely people.
SUMMARY
We will remember with pleasure the welcome you gave us, the friendliness of the people, a beautiful country, the energy and hard work being put in by everyone, the generally high standard of hygiene ( which beforehand had been a concern to us ), very good hotels and restaurants, the excellent quality of the food and the high standard of service. We would come back for those things.

Overall we are very pleased with quality of organisation and excellent service we have received from Vietnam Tour Travel and we have already given your details to two different people.
Ms Hai Yen, thank you so much for providing us with such a memorable experience.

Vietnamese trip a most enjoyable

Dear Ms Hai Yen
A big thank you to you and Mr David Tran for making our Vietnamese trip a most enjoyable one.
The hotels are all very good as they are most 'high end' accommodation. Perhaps a feedback to
Metropole in Hanoi that they should change the mattresses to firmer and better quality ones for a
hotel of their standing? Maybe they have been used for a while and we feel our backs are sinking
into them. We will not expect very good quality mattresses from lower grade hotels but for Metropole,
being the top hotel in Hanoi, a good quality mattress for the room is very important. But the service is
TOP class, very good.
We kept having meals at the same restaurant next to the hotel we stayed in Sapa. A bit boring. Other than
that Sapa is very charming and we enjoyed the place.
Our Furama Resort Ocean View room with the package deal was very good.
Our last stop at Ho Chi Min / Saigon was very interesting too. It is so different and modern from the other
northern parts of Vietnam.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Vietnam and the above feedback, we hope will help in giving your clients an even better
and more enjoyable time. We will recommend your good service should we or our friends wish to travel to
those places that your Company covers.
Many thanks and hope to speak to you again in the future.

With warmest regards

I was especially impressed for 14days trip to Vietnam

Dear Ms Hai Yen,

I am now back in Melbourne, and I am happy to provide the following feedback regarding my tour to Vietnam wth your company.

I am happy with the services provided by your company during my(together with my wife) 14 day (24/3/12 to 6/04/12) tour of Vietnam. Foremost, I was very happy your company kept its word on all it promised to do in the tour itinerary.

I was especially impressed with the following :
1. Your company sent us to the Hanoi Railway station right up to the train compartment to take the train to Sapa.On returning from Sapa to Hanoi, your company's representative again met us at the Hanoi Railway station (at 5 am) and took us back to the hotel. There , a hotel room was booked from 5 am to 8 am for us to freshen up and have breakfast before our trip to Halong Bay.
All the tour guides in the different parts of the tour performed their tasks professionally. This is especially true for the tour guides in HCMC (Ngoc), Hai On (sorry, forgot his name), Hanoi (sorry, forget his name) and Sapa (Vung). Vung was very pleasant and communicative with us; my wife and I enjoyed the Sapa trip very much.

All the hotels were good, especially Golden Rice Hotel in Hanoi, where the overnight rooms provided to us were first class (although Golden Rice hotel is a only 3 star hotel). However the hotel in Sapa did disappoint because when we moved into the room, there was a used towel still hanging in the bathroom.

I negotiated the itinerary with Ms Hai Yen, who, I have no doubt , was responsible for the proper execution of the itinerary. On the last day of our tour, the company's Director Mr. Tran Anh Diep even paid us a courtest call at Golden Rice hotel, which was very kind of him. Previous to the tour, I did not know anything about Vietnam Tour Travel nor did I know anybody who was working for the company.

If any of my relatives or friends are going to Vietnam, I will have no hesitation in recommending Vietnam Tour Travel to them.

Thank you.

We enjoyed your country very very much

Dear Hai Yen,

As I promised I write you back with my impression from the trip to Vietnam.
First, I want to tell you that we enjoyed your country very very much and it was one of our best trips. We liked the people, the special atmospher as a communist country and the feeling of something new which is beeing built. As tourists we felt that everywhere people want us to feel good: in the hotels in the restaurants and on the street. We are thinking to come back next year to visit the places we missed like Dalat and Na Trang and again to visit Hanoi, which we found fascinating, and Hoi An just to mention the main places. Maybe we will add to this trip a visit to Cambodia or Laos. Are you willing to help me with it?

As to your company we were very pleased. Everything went smouthly and easy. I have few things of criticism. As I told you already we expected to have a better cabin in the train to SAPA and not next to the Bathroom. We expected to have better restaurants and so touristic: you have to take into account that people are coming to Vietnam also for the food. In the trip to Can Tho we felt that many things were not nescessary and were a waste of time and money (like the drive with a horse and a cart and things like that). But all everything was good.

Another thing, untill I met our lovely guide in Sapa- Hai, I thought you are a men and not a women. I am a women also.  Many thanks

a big thank you to you and your colleagues for the organisation

Dear Hai Yen

Hope this finds you well and that you and your family enjoyed a happy 'chuc meng nam moi'.
We just want to say a big thank you to you and your colleagues for the organisation and arrangement of our trip to Sapa and Halong. We would definitely recommend your services to our friends and if we do travel to Hanoi again, will certainly get in
contact to organise our tours through you.

We wish you all the best for 2012. Com On!

We had a wonderful holiday

Hello

We had a wonderful holiday. Thank you for your help.
Your guide Ms Silen Truy was wonderful, and the best guide we had during our three-week trip in Vietnam. She allowed us flexibility, which was important with a small child, and with changing weather conditions. She was also very caring and patient, and she helped us understand more about the environment and the people in Sapa.
I would certainly recommend your company again, and Ms Silen Truy as a guide in Sapa.

Warm regards,
Kim Stockham
