We will be recommending your tours

Sorry it took us awhile to get back to you on this
All five tour guides (including Halong Bay) were excellent. They had a good knowledge, very helpful and were enjoyable company. The drivers were all efficient and friendly and flexible. Transport was good. Water, rain coats, umbrellas etc were much appreciated. We enjoyed the different types of food and drinks. Accommodation was generally high standard. The hotel upgrades were excellent and we appreciated it. Very informative and enjoyable tour and would
recommend to friends and family.

Hope you are keeping well. It must be a busy time for you as it is the beginning of the tourist season in Vietnam. We will be recommending your tours to anyone we know who will be interested in visiting your beautiful country. We intend visiting Vietnam again in the future.
If at any time you wish to visit Australia or you need any information from us, please feel free to contact us. It was nice meeting up with you in Hanoi.
We wish you and Vietnam Travel all the very best in the future.
With warm regards

Thanks for a great trip

Dear Ms. Hai Yen,

We arrived home this week and I am sorry I did not get to the computer immediately.

My appologies for the poor English and some typos in the last mail. That Singapore hotel computer did not let me make any corrections, the letters could not get changed or inserted in the e-mail, so I finally had to send it as is, even it was not a good letter, as the e.mail was not working well. Very sorry about that.

It was great meeting you and I love the beautiful purse and the cards we split amongst us. Michael really loved the very nice Tie and cufflink set. Thank you so much, and also for booking such a great trip for us. It was full of action, never a dull moment and such diverse sights, especially in Vietnam. all the details were well taken care of.  We all had a wonderful time, minus the bag situation.

The entry to Vietnam was easy - thanks of all your directions and the form, it went quickly. We only needed 1 photo for both entries.

Angkor Wat: The guide and the driver were professional and polite and well spoken with a good English vocabulary and an immense knowledge for the area and so much details. He suggested very good dinner places and the night market; the driver took us there and back as well. The Hotel was fantastic and the breakfast buffet superb. The car was spacious and clean.

Hanoi:  What a busy city,  uhhhh - so many motor-cycles, from all directions at once. (a little to busy for some of us) but an interesting experience nevertheless, I liked it. Lots to see, I went for Tai-chi early morning, when it was calmer.
The hotel was very accommodating and clean, a little tight for one of the group. Good Breakfast.

The guide and driver were very professional, good driver in that traffic.  The guide was very knowledgeable and had a good  English vocabulary. Unfortunately 2 of the places were closed, but we saw the outside. Many interesting sites to see.
The car was spacious and clean, except the taxi to the airport was almost too small to take the suitcases on the last day.

The train was clean, the bunks comfortable, but riding to Lao Cai was very noisy (car 12) also on the many flat areas, may be it was an old car, it was always rattling, as on the way back it was much quieter, so we could sleep better. We never heard the locomotive in both directions. Also the aircon. was working much better on the return ride, (car 11). I felt bad for the guide who picked us up, who apperantly was not given the time of our arrival and was waiting already 2 hrs. from the first train arriving. We felt bad for that. The Sapa agency did not give her the time of our train's arrival, I think.

Sapa Hotel was clean and very good, spacious and serviceable, also in a  in a good location.

Our young Sapa Guide Maya was simply the BEST, she was truly a wonderful guide, cheerful, extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic, while being calm. She spoke good English and made the trip a lot of fun, as it was raining, except the first morning no rain. We missed seeing the mountains, they were hiding under the clouds. The walks to the villages and the waterfall were still great. She also took us to the local market as well. We were able to meet several village ladies and see homes.

All the provided meals were excellent in all the places, and very generous in size, including Cambodia.

Bhaya Cruises was a nice boat with very curtious staff, especially the cruise director Mr. Huang....was extremely attentive.
The cabins were clean and very nice with a little balcony and  they served wonderful  food. Very nice and good organized outings to the floating villages and the very impressive huge old caves.

 Thanks for a great trip.

A most enjoyable time

Ms Hai Yen -
Thank you for your kind thoughts.  I must apologise for taking so long to reply.
We were most happy with the tour of Cambodia that you organised.  The tour included all we wanted to see and everything happened as scheduled.  There were no problems at any stage.  The guides were most professional and knew their job well; particularly the one we had in Siem Reap.  He spoke excellent English and had an impressive knowledge of Cambodia, past and present.
The guide in Phnom Penh was most helpful when I had camera problems.  He organised a visit to a camera shop where the issue was able to be sorted out.
Thank you once again for a most enjoyable time.  We have friends who are considering a trip to Cambodia and we have passed on your details.

Thank you for booking

Dear Minh,

Our cruise on the Pelican was a delight. Our rooms were wonderful, genorous in size and impeccably clean, and the crew were most welcoming. The food was excellent, as was the on board service, and activities were very enjoyable and well organised. It represented outstanding value for the price. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Pelican cruise to family, friends and colleagues.

Thank you for booking this tour for us and arranging the excellent transfers to and from Halong Bay.

Best regards,

Max.

Appreciate your efforts

Hi,

We have reached safely. Thank you for your email.
Overall we had a fantastic time in Vietnam. Every penny was worth visiting the most beautiful country and its people. Please find my feedback:
Hanoi- Quyen was brilliant and very informative. He was very professional and managed our trip very well.
The hotel was good. The only regret was we missed Halong bay but it is inevitable.
Hue- The hotel was superb and we had a good time enjoying their hospitality. We did the most shopping here.
Hue - Hoian - The driver was awesome and very helpful. This was the best part of our trip and the beautiful scenic drive.
Hoian- Hoian historic hotel was the best of all and the staff. Again we did lot of shopping here.
Ho Chi Minh - The guide Mei was the best and very friendly. We liked her instantly and she was very helpful  . We are happy with her friendliness and support.
Ho Chi Minh - Leima was really good and she was very informative. She took us to a very good vegetarian restaurant and we had a very good food for the first time in Vietnam.
In general we had little difficult with vegetarian food as most of the hotels and the restaurants had very little options for vegetarian. But thats not at all an issue.
Last but equal to first  we have to thank you for all your support right through the booking till the end of our trip. You are just fantastic and let me know if I need to send any separate email to anyone to appreciate your efforts.

Note: Apologies if I have misspelled any of the guides name.

Best Regards,

Venkat

Hi
Thanks for the email I was going to drop you a note as well
Yes we were very pleased we booked through you as we quickly learned we were in safe hands.
We felt that if we had a problem you were available and would get it fixed for us quickly

Really appreciated
1)      Being picked up and dropped off at destinations. We did not have a lot of time to spend on our holiday and you took a lot of the mundane getting around stuff away from us …thank you
2)      All the guides were very polite and noted particularly the guide called Drong was very knowledgeable about the history and city of Hanoi
3)      All our drivers were considerate and very conscientious with SAFETY.
4)      The trip was well thought out and we feel we learned and saw a lot in both Hanoi and Spa and Halong Bay
5)      The hotel was also very good in Hanoi- good sized rooms and very good friendly professional staff.
6)      The food on board the little boat that took us kayaking and swimming was very good given the cramped conditions for cooking …a lot of deep fried oily food though….MORE FRESH please…

Some thoughts and ideas….

1)      How about some leaflets when we arrive showing us some places to shop and maybe site see around Hanoi. For example a good café and a good coffee shop would be good close to the Hotel….we discovered “Little Hanoi” our self by chance….…We felt we came very badly prepared …our fault as we did not research at all before we came…
2)      Felt we wanted to experience the real Vietnam food and did not always feel we were ……think the chefs might be cooking for tourists and diluting down the Asia experience …
3)      The boat trip…..a great location to spend time
·         serve afternoon tea and morning tea with a local sweet biscuit when returning to the boat after an excursion ashore….
·         Get the bar staff to go around the boat and yes clear the glasses but ask the guests if they want another drink…we have to keep going downstairs to get a drink ours elf from the bar…they will sell so much more alcohol
·         Serve bar snacks before dinner and at times guest want something
·         The last day was a bit empty …it dragged…. Before we got to the marina
·         How about put in some drinks at the Pearl farm…no food or drink to buy …..sell them to hot and thirsty tourist and give the profit to the workers at the farm…!!!
·         On the little boat that took us kayaking and swimming ..offer snacks through the day…it was a long time from lunch to dinner that night back on board the big boat

your service were very good

Dear Hai Yen,

I have got some comment from our guests from group 15-18/09.  They were satisfied with your service and they felt great while having trip previously.  Thank u so much to all crews.  Really appreciate it.

But, in our next group, they ask us to reduce the Pagoda visits into 1 or 2 places just ok.  We still can change the pagoda visit with other place right?

Overall, they said your service were very good. Thumbs up! =)

Thanks,
Ida

Mihn!

Sorry! We have been travelling since we finished the tour last night so sorry for the delay. I have now paid it. Thank you for bring understanding. We enjoyed the tour very much & the weather was very kind to us. We did provide some written feedback on the sheet provided & I gave it to Cuong. We enjoyed everything except we thought the food could be improved. Cuong & the driver were very helpful in getting us to & from the train. If made a big difference.

Thank you very much for all your organisation. We will be recommending the tour to our friends.

 Warm wishes
