Depart from Luang Prabang in the mid-morning and drive about thirty minutes on road towards Kwang Si Waterfall to Ban Nong Heo,a Khamu village where you will start the trek. Hike through village community forests and fields for 1.5 hours to Ban Long Lao,a Hmong village. You will have an opportunity to learn about their traditions and culture,much of which has remained unchanged for centuries. Enjoy a family style Lao lunch prepared by the villagers and enhancing your understanding of traditional Hmong textile production.
Continue the journey through thick forests,climbing to the top of a mountain from which you will have excellent views of the area. Descend from the hills to a natural spring perfect for a brief rest and afternoon refreshing swim. Finally arrive at the famous Kwang Si waterfall,Luang Prabang's most beautiful natural site.
Return to Luang Prabang hotel by car in the late afternoon.
