Vietnam has temporarily suspended visa exemptions for citizens of South Korea and Italy. With special exceptions only, all travellers arriving from and who have transited through mainland China, Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk of South Korea within the past 14 days will be refused entry to Vietnam at this time.
  All travellers entering Vietnam from or having transited through mainland China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Italy, and Iran must carry out medical declarations and medical checks upon entering the country.

What if guests are arrested and quarantined overseas?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Guests will be quarantined overseas if the body temperature reaches 37.5 degrees celsius.

If a guest is asked by immigration officer to be quarantined, it is likely that the guest will be quarantined for at least a day or more to confirm whether or not the guest has been infected with coronavirus. If this happens, the guest must follow all directions given by the immigration.

If guests are found not to have coronavirus infection, guests will be allowed to continue tours with VietnamTour.

If guests are found to have coronavirus infection, the guests will remain quarantined and will not be able to continue tours with VietnamTour. VietnamTour will not bear the costs of a guest's need to be quarantined. However, VietnamTour CO.,Ltd representative’s telephone number will be provided for any emergency and assistance.

 

What precautions does VietnamTour take to prevent coronavirus infection during a visit?

 

 

 

 

 

Some of the precautions taken by VietnamTour Co.,ltd:

1. Guests will be given one face mask daily throughout the tour upon availability.

2. Each guest's body temperature will be monitored by the Tour Guide/Tour Leader daily before leaving the hotel.

3. Hand sanitizer will be provided in the bus for guests to use every time they get off and board the bus.

4. Tour Leader / Tour Guide will always remind guests to practice preventive measures (examples: wearing a mask, mouth covering during sneezing, frequent hand washing or using hand sanitizer, etc.) each time before performing activities especially in crowded places.

What if a guest becomes ill while travelling abroad?

 

The decision depends on our guests whether they want to be taken to hospital or not. If a guest wants to be taken to the hospital, VietnamTour will help to arrange the guest’s transportation but all medical expenses at the hospital will be borne by the guest.

How do VietnamTour operators take preventative measures against coronavirus infection?

VietnamTour will send an email to operators of the places which our guests will be visiting and inquire about preventive measures taken to prevent coronavirus infection. Besides, VietnamTour will notify guests of the precautions to be taken when visiting these places.

What if a travel ban notice isissued during a visit?

 

 

Usually, a notice will be issued at least one day before the travel ban. Therefore, the airlines / Vietnam government will attempt to bring the guest home immediately after the notice is issued, but depends on the availability of the return flight ticket.

If guests are not allowed to return home in the near future, VietnamTour will continue providing regular service, such as meals and accommodation throughout the duration of the visit. After the regular visiting period finishes, the expenses for meals and accommodation will be borne by guests themselves.

In addition, VietnamTour will contact the Vietnam embassy overseas and ask if the embassy provides accommodation and meals, especially for Vietnamese guests overseas. VietnamTour will also notify the embassy abroad of groups of Vietnamtour guests so that the embassy will be notified of any unforeseen events
